Daytona > Sub > day date
Sub > Daytona> day date
Daytona too casual imo, sub is easier to dress up. Two-tone day date is for drug lords and used car salesmen
lol, this exemplifies why I will never rock a Rolex (even though they're well-made). It's the ubiquitous 'I feel I've made it, now how do I let other people know that I have?'
Two tone Daytona only if you get it with the white dial, otherwise never wear it as the other options are gold and silver dials - so tacky even a Persian millionaire will say its a bit much. The two tone Day - Date can also be elegant provided you also get the white dial on it. Under no circumstances should a self-respecting VP/watch enthusiast/person/human wear a two-tone Submariner. Those were made for tacky kids who want bling but couldn't convince daddy to drop the cash for a full gold one. In summary, Daytona>Day Date only if you get the white dial - otherwise nothing.
Daytona/Sub then day date. Unless you are an old white man then get gold day date first.
Rolex makes nice watches but threads like this are why I don't wear my Sub at all and will probably sell it lol
