Is it alright to wear a Casio watch to an interview if it's the only watch I have?
Might be a dumb question but I only have one watch and it's a Casio stainless steel one with a black watch face. I realize most people probably don't care about these things in an interview but would it be better to wear no watch at all? I don't really have the means to get a new watch at the moment as I'm a low-income student
Not a big deal either way, but probably safest just not to wear it
Gotcha. Is it safest because it might look unprofessional, or is there some other downside?
Believe it or not, not everyone wears a watch. There's no need to wear or own a watch.
I don't think anyone will care at all. Maybe some insecure associate who doesn't have the EQ to make it to senior levels nor the horsepower to make it in PE and so you can not wear a watch to be safe. I'd be more concerned if some kid had a Nautilus or something.
Anyone who judges a student for wearing a not expensive watch to an interview has tiny pp energy
I wear a $15 Casio at times
You’ll be ok
No one will care. Wear it if you want to, or not
You don’t gain anything by wearing it. I’d just leave it at home for interviews
Do you really want to work anywhere in the proximity of someone who would ding you because you're wearing a Casio watch?
If I were interviewing you, we'd be wearing the same watch and I'd think you have good taste. Go for it. The expensive watches are usually bought *after* you get your bonus, not before.
Isn’t Casio some cheap shit?
Bro, only weirdos and creeps wear watches.
Couldn’t imagine my dad wearing watch
