There are some main rules about your topic. First of all, dressing for the occasion is extremely important. It is not a good deal to wear a suit to the riverside, sure, you have got the idea. Also, remember to make sure your clothing fits. For real, your clothes should complement your personality: your age, status and so on. Don't try to look very old or young. I agree with people who said about watches, ties etc. But I would like to say that it is a good idea to choose a "power accessory" and for ones, it is a tie, while for other ones it is a watch or a pocket square. It could be also shoes. And don't ignore casual style, of course.

Make sure that whatever you wear that should fit perfectly. Do not forget to put your accessories like belt, watch, cuff links etc. Dress according the occasion.

The most important part of any suit is definitely the fit. Custom suits are a little more expensive but well worth it (so long as your weight does not fluctuate a lot). And no need to go to Connor McGregor's tailor- any custom made suit that is good quality and good fabric will work. Also just make sure you look clean.

Are you going to make $100MM in a single night? If yes: Then get the suit. If no: Then do not get the suit.

In no particular order:

  • Suit/shirt/tie combo are complimentary patterns. There are enough pattern/solid combos to make a stripes on stripes combo completely moronic.

  • Belt, shoes, watch and bag (if applicable) match. Brown shoes with a black belt is for blind accountants.

  • Speaking of which, brown shoes don't work in the office 99% of the time.

  • Pressed/ironed shirts.

  • Well fitted suit. This is a broad topic but suits should not be overly baggy OR tight. No one wants to see your boxer lines because you think super tight pants make you look like an Italian model.

Thank you. You aren't fashionable just because you learned to match your belt and shoes.
