Ladies---what shoes would you recommend for a new 1st year analyst to get?
Any help would be appreciated, I will be the only girl in the office and wondering what to do shoe wise.

i love a good high high heel - nude and black are good options to go with since they're super neutral. here's a pair of steve maddens i've been eyeing recently. (https://shop.nordstrom.com/s/steve-madden-daisie-pointy-toe-pump-women/…)
you should also get a pair of flats for when you can't be bothered to put on heels hahah. tory burch flats are a classic, and you can stick to neutral colors if you're just starting your shoe collection out and branch out into cute prints as you flesh out your wardrobe. hope this helps!
Black Sam Edelmen heals are always great
Get the branded shoes which looks natural and real not too much design as what office personality loves to get simple and attractive look.
Focus on comfort - if you only get one pair of work shoes to start out I'd recommend a low chunky heel (similar to the Ferragamo "Vara" but at a more affordable price point). Works well with a suit and isn't so high that it's uncomfortable. If you get two pairs I'd get a heel and a flat like someone else here said.
My go-to is the https://shopstyle.it/l/1157</a">Ferragamo Vara. They work with skirts, dresses, and pants! The chunky, short heel is comfortable for you to wear all day long.
If you want to spend a bit less, I would check out Cole Haan. I like the https://shopstyle.it/l/1138</a">Vesta Pointy Toe Pump in black. The heel is not too high so your feet won't be dying after a couple hours. They also look professional and not flashy. Perfect for a 1st year analyst.
Please also check out my blog - I previously worked in Investment Banking and recently started it up to share my experience and tips with other women!
