Parents want to buy me a watch for graduation, and currently planning to get a Saxonia for me. While I love it and obviously it represents phenomenal horological value, my main concern is that wearing it to the office next year might be a bad look due to the price tag. At the same time, Lange is not a watchmaker that is well-known among people who aren't into watches, so I feel like that might mitigate the problem.

B) Ask them to go used instead and buy a used Breguet, way more bang for buck.
If they insist on a new Saxonia, try to get an allocation for an SS odysseus. You can flip for 2x what you pay easy.
I think you’ll be fine. As an enthusiast I would love to see someone wearing a Lange and would probably ask you about it. Nobody else would know the difference between a Saxonia and any other dress watch. It would be a different story with something like a precious metal dive/sports watch or recognizable piece like a Day-Date.
