Last minute dress code change

Incoming SA and dress code was just changed from formal to casual. So, as we are only a week from start I have already spent $1200 on two tailored suits and don't have much more budget for more clothes. should I just wear suits with no tie?

You should enjoy the suits- wear the slacks and coats independently. I know the coats are not looking good right now with it warming up, but in the fall and winter you will want them. You should get some other pants and make sure you have a good shirt rotation, and then use the suit pieces with the other stuff.

Business casual means you have some liberty and don't have to wear a tie- you can still get a lot of mileage out of two nice suits, it was not wasted money,

I think there is a Brooks Brothers sale coming on for Father's Day.
