Luggage suggestions

Would highly recommend Away. Great looking bags and are pretty reasonably priced. I have the Carry-On and the Expandable Large, but mostly just use the carry-on

If you want wheels, definitely Tumi for both. If you want more of a duffel for the carry-on, there are tons of cool ones out there. 

Tumi seems solid. I have seen boxes in my building from away so prob people buying those too. I think major department stores like Bloomingdales sell quality luggage too. Good luck 

I travel a fair bit and have tried a few different brands. So far my favorite has been Briggs Riley (specifically the carry on bags).

Anyone got a larger weekend bag for like a week long trip?

I personally like Briggs and Riley. Tons of space and pockets, it's fairly unique so you'd be able to pick it out easier on a flight, and there's a relatively generous life time warranty. That being said, you can't go wrong with Tumi either.
