I'm sure he doesn't, but I also doubt this question has been asked within the PWM world. It honestly depends on the role and your attire. I am going to assume that this is a summer position and you have a front office bent (meaning you are working with the RMs directly in preparation of client materials, some SA/RA Support roles, etc.), as long as your monk straps don't look like a casual weekend shoe (think topsiders or driving shoes), you should be fine to wear them. Also, don't be fancy w/ the monk strap. More than a simple monk strap might be taken for a casual shoe, which is a big no no. Personally, I'm not a fan, but I know people that work in PWM that wear them.
