MoonSwatch?

I think we can agree that the MoonSwatch is the hottest watch of the year, but what does everyone think of them?  Are they decent casual workwear? Are they even worth MSRP?

I lucked into a Pluto at my local store (WTC) and it looks cool, and is shockingly light.  The stock velcro band, while NASA authentic is also utter crap to wear, and I swapped mine for a rally band.  All in all, I don't regret the purchase but thinking that my SKX was the same price is shocking.

I don't think it's worth the hype if I'm honest. I queued in line for 8 hrs to get one on launch day (got the mission to mars), but only wore the watch a handful of times. First I thought it was because of the strap (spoiler alert: it sucks) so I put it on a nato but things didn't improve that much. It's just too plasticky (doy) and I just can't stand wearing it.

I recently bought a seiko 5 with Arabic dial for around $180, a much better watch for the money
