MoonSwatch - Thoughts?

I don't think anyone (not even swatch) expected this collab to blow up the way it did. seeing people all around the globe queueing for an analog watch in this day and age is just maddening. especially as Swatch has repeatedly reiterated that its not gonna be a limited issue

As a proud owner of a sapphire sandwich moonwatch - Defo conflicted here:

On one hand - Swatch...how dare they? yuck, no getting around that the watch snob in me is defo disgusted by this cheap mass market knockoff (though not as extreme as some guys on Watchuseek proclaiming they'll never buy an omega ever again lol)

on the other hand....this is doing wonders for the omega brand (and the broader swiss watch community), and given how cheaply made the moonswatch is ("bioceramic" yeah okay.....) - clearly they're propping up the actual moonwatch line as the "premium alternative" - akin to Tudor/Rolex if you will

Regardless this is probably the single biggest watch headline in a long while? Curious to hear thoughts.
