So when you get a name tag that has a safety pin with it or some sort of pin that will make a hole in your shirt, how are you supposed to wear it? I feel like if you've got a polo and use that the holes ruin the shirt. If you're in a suit, should you just wear it in the lapel pin area? Does that seem too high for a name tag? What if you're in a button down dress shirt with no jacket?

Obviously magnetic nametags or lanyards are ideal, but I'm saying what if you are at a conference or something and that is all you receive...
Wouldn't putting it through my eyeball make it difficult to see when I'm meeting people. Also, wouldn't other people be a little weirded out by that?

Tape a magnet to your shirt. Then simply place the nametag on the magnet and it will stay.
OR open up the pin, stick it through your ear piercing, and then close the pin
