Navy slacks, cordovan shoes, what socks?
I have some nice navy slacks and some cordovan shoes that go really well together, what I am unsure about is the color of sock to go with the combo. I have heard both that you should match your socks to your pants and to your shoes and I think that navy socks don't really look that great with it.
Any suggestions?
match your pants with a small print. I dont own a pair of solid color socks..

I typically match blue/blue and grey/grey (socks/pants) but recently just bought a crazy colored sock pattern (yellow/green/blue) cause i saw an MD pull it off fucking well.
Whether or not ill do it remains to be seen, but the option is there.
usually you match the pants with the socks. i also have run into this problem because some navy suits/ slacks are lighter or darker than some navy socks. Do your best to match but even black socks arent a killer.
