Ongoing sales for upcoming internship?

I have an upcoming off-cycle internship coming up and was wondering if anyone had any tips on any ongoing sales or deals to build up a solid wardrobe. Was looking for a few solid business casual-appropriate shirts, slacks, and ties and also a pair of dress shoes. I see a few ongoing sales at the usual BB, CT, etc. but not sure what's actually a solid deal and what's just another usual 'sale'. Really appreciate any tips!

Charles Tyrwhitt does 3 shirts for $99 a few times a year. BB is generally a rip off. If you go to the BB outlet (there is one near NYC) you can get lower quality but decent stuff for much cheaper under the "346" label. You can get a pretty decent tailored suit from Suitsupply for $400-$600 which is relatively cheap. For shoes, Allen Edmonds does "factory seconds" sales at least a couple times a year which allow you to get AEs that have just barely missed the quality test (apparently) and are thus heavily discounted. If you're near NYC I'd recommend going to the Woodbury Commons outlets with a little bit of cash to burn and you can get set up nicely in a day. They always have stuff on sale there.

If you want to spend a little bit more on a much higher quality shirt, I'd highly recommend Kamakura shirts which can be bought online or from their boutique in Manhattan. They're $79 and come in refined patterns and styles with a little bit more of a modern cut than BB and much more comfortable.
