Prada Wallet Question

Hi Fellow Monkeys,

Wanted to get people's thoughts on the following wallet:

Prada Saffiano And Crocodile Leather Wallet In Black https://modesens.com/us/en/product/prada-saffiano…

Pretty expensive wallet ($650) that was a gift. Doesn't seem like the simple leather, all-black/brown wallet typically used. Would you rock it or no? (I understand it's just a wallet and matters very little)

The wallet itself is fine - basic not too flashy and if it was a gift then its really up to you if you want to keep it or not.

I personally wouldn't rock it. The price tag is way to high for a wallet, you can get a nice designer card case for less than half of the price. And if it was a gift to me, I would much rather spend $650 on something else - like a nice wardrobe staple that will last.

Prada quality is awful for the money.

If you're going to spend that much you should look elsewhere... a huge chunk of their products are made in China.

These guys for example, are amazing quality wise. https://lotuffleather.com/collections/leather-accessories

I can't speak for their wallets, but I did have them make a custom tote for my mom, and it was amazing. Excellent quality leathers.
