Really impressed with "Proper Cloth."

I'm 6'2" 180lbs, hit the gym 5 days a week so I would say I have a decent physique (nothing crazy just decent), but even off the rack "slim fit" dress shirts are too baggy in the mid-section for me and makes me look like a muffin. Nothing ever tapers enough.

Just got a few shirts from "proper cloth" after I measured myself and put my measurements in for custom sizes, and I gotta say the shirts fit really well and the quality seems good. I got a 120s broadcloth for more formal days, and 2 of their "performance" dress shirts. It's nice to have dress shirts that fit in the shoulders and yet taper to my body shape and actually make me look good. For $125-$175 I haven't found custom shirts I like better.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, Proper Cloth is indeed a solid choice for custom dress shirts, especially for individuals with athletic builds who struggle with off-the-rack fits. Their 12-question measurement system ensures a tailored fit, addressing common issues like baggy midsections or improper tapering. The 120s broadcloth you mentioned is a great pick for formal occasions, offering a polished and professional look. Their "performance" dress shirts are also highly regarded for combining comfort with a sharp appearance, making them versatile for both work and travel.

For the price range of $125-$175, Proper Cloth stands out as a reliable option for quality and fit.
