Shoes for analyst level bankers

Could someone please recommend me some casual smart shoes for entry level bankers?

I am thinking about something like Giuseppe Zanotti or Ferragamo. Found a couple of appealing drivers from these two designers.

Or if you'd send me link of some nice driver or moccasins in the range of 400-600 USD, I would appreciate that!

get yourself a pair or two of allen edmonds oxford dress shoes in black / dark brown. I think generally if you take care of your shoes, wear them in the office, and use shoe trees, they will last you a lifetime.

Meermin and Jack Erwin are two other brands that I found to be fairly priced and good quality.

There's a closer meaning to my user name. Try reading it quickly. Perhaps you will then understand ;P

reminds me of another thread where OP asked if it's okay to wear his patek his dad got him for his entry level analyst role.

the answer is no.

EBITDA rules everything around me

You will get laughed off the floor with those on. Plus, never wear something nicer than what your boss wears... analysts dont get to compete in who can wear the nicest/most expensive shoes in the office.

Earn your stripes, then you can wear ferragamo.

Seconded. Not sure why anyone even bothers to ask this...unless you can afford the ultra-high-end stuff, this is the only brand you need to worry about for dress shoes.

Cole Haan is hardly worth the money these days.

Any non-decorous slim fit suit will suffice. If you have irregular body proportions like myself you need look no further than Rajawongse http://www.dress-for-success.com ...these fine men have been stocking my suit rack for over 5 years.

Congrats on your new job and always take great pride and care with what you wear.

Amazing website ! Thanks for the heads up. Another reason to visit Thailand.

I don't like Lombard. They look like old man shoes. Go with something else like PPJ said.

BeenPreppingwhats your dress code like in the BO?

Ambiguous shoes that could pass for either plain black sneakers or work boots, Dickies pants, and a Calvin Klein polo (with a crew neck undershirt).
