Shoes for commute?

Happy Friday. As the title suggests I'm curious what shoes you guys wear during your commute.

I'd prefer to not wear my office dress shoes anymore. I've had too many nice pairs of shoes scuffed up/stepped on in the train and ruined by salt on the street/sidewalk. Not to mention dress shoes aren't made for the type of long distance walking my commute requires.

Do you wear Nikes? Adidas? Comfortable loafers? Please let me know.

So you were sneakers with a suit and change in the office?

I wear drivers, loafers and dress shoes. Getting them resoled is like 50 bucks.
