Shoes & Style

I have a few interviews the next couple weeks — some in person some virtually — and I want to know what everyone’s take is on appearance. Do I wear the $300 loafers or go with the more subtle ones? My best suit or go a bit more casual with it (tie vs no tie)? I don’t wanna come off as a cocky a hole but I want them to know I have some class and style. At my current internship everyone wears golf shirts and vests so that’s what I’ve gotten used to. Even most of my first round interviews the interviewer would be wearing a quarter zip or something more casual. Thoughts?
