Shoes + Tailor Recs

Hey guys,

Just wondering if these type of slip-on, non-laced shoes are appropriate for finance interviews & internships. Got them as a gift, so I'll keep them unless everyone says they're non-kosher or something.

Also wondering if anyone has solid but inexpensive tailor recommendations for NYC. May be getting a suit from the outlet and will need the pants altered for length.

Thanks a bunch.

Shoes look ok, I am not a fan though. They look a little club toed, but that is just my opinion. They are black and simple which is all you really need so if you like them then keep them.

As far as tailors go, no advice to give so sorry, but if you are just having your pants hemmed up basically anyone can do it. If you are getting a suit taken in and tailored to fit you I would make sure you find a place you are comfortable with. A tailored suit makes a huge difference.
