Should I not wear my Rolex to the holiday party?

So I'm a mid sized boutique, my firm has quite a few 'watch people'. I have a Rolex Submariner and a few other higher end watches; I'm just an analyst though. I feel good wearing watches, wouldn't flaunt it or anything, but will anyone mind? Just like wearing nice watches for these types of events. I think the founder wears a similar sub and someone else in the firm, so would anyone care?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, it seems that the general consensus is to play it safe when it comes to wearing flashy items like a Rolex, especially in a professional setting. You don't want to stand out for the wrong reasons. However, you mentioned that your firm has quite a few 'watch people' and even the founder wears a similar watch.

In this case, it might be acceptable to wear your Rolex Submariner, especially if it's a more casual event like a holiday party. Just remember, the goal is not to flaunt it, but to feel good and comfortable. If you're still unsure, you could always ask a trusted colleague for their opinion.

Remember, it's not about what's on your wrist, but what you bring to the table. Enjoy the party!
