Should I wear stubble in investment banking headshot?
Hi,
Should I wear stubble in investment banking headshot? I might shave during the headshot shoot. This is the length of stubble, I'm guessing 3-5mm.

You'll want to be clean-shaven, in my opinion.
While modern trends may accept a bit of facial hair, I believe there are still many with very traditional views, who tend to form opinions based on such things - even if not a problem at your specific office, there is always the chance that someone might later see the photo and be critical somehow - and thus, perhaps lean on the more safe / traditional option.

I would go clean. Most traditional and especially with the older generation, clean shaven is what is most appropriate. May be going on their website etc as well.
So close! Target stubble length is 0.5-2mm. Bonus points if you measure each hair out individually and cut them with a pair of scissors.
tbh, i wasn't that close. on the lower end of an ideal stubble length, i was off by a factor of three.

As was said - clean is safe. You can always rock some slight stubble afterward
