Smart Business Attire
I was just invited to a dinner/networking event with a BB at my school, and the invitation specifies that we should wear "smart business attire". Now, is this closer to formal business attire (w/ suit and tie) or smart casual (shirt and khakis)? Would appreciate any advice.
No idea what that means but it's better to overdress than underdress. I say suit with no tie.
agree with topcheddar, suit & tie but be ready to take off the tie if you're the only one wearing it.
