S&t intern watch

Hey guys, will be a bb s&t intern next summer. Over the past few months, I made really good money (for a student) in the stock market through speculative plays. I'm looking for a beginner suit watch that looks great under a grand, all I have is an Apple Watch and a cool but roughly $300 vintage watch w a brown leather strap that looks amazing with a grey suit. Any good watch recommendations from the experienced folk? Looking for something that looks good with a navy suit; Small wrist, athletic build. Thank you!

Under a grand I would check out Seiko like the above poster suggested. Bulova is another option as well. Could also pick up a preowned Sinn 556 at that price point which is pretty versatile. Also depends what you mean by suit watch as you can wear a lot of different watches with suits but if you mean dress watch then that narrows it down a lot.
