Suits & shoes

So every Jan/Feb it seems I end up going out and buying new clothes essentially for the next year. This year I am looking to get 4-5 new shirts, 1-2 new suits, and 2-3 new pairs of shoes.

Brand recommendations on shirts? I normally get thomas pink, which are on 50% sale right now.

Shoes? The default is AE but Im considering Cole Haan for comfort reasons.

Suits? This is the difficult part. I need a 54 jacket and to date the only off-the-shelf brand that works is one of the Calvin Klein lines. Im thinking something made-to-measure would work better and be more comfortable.

I know I have seen some smaller tailors advertise like 3 for $3,000 or something comoarable where its suit + shirt + shoes combo x 3. Any ideas are welcome though

Why do you need to buy new shoes every year? Buy a decent pair with a goodyear welt (Alden is great) and they should last forever.

Seems like MTM/bespoke is the way to go for suiting/shirts for you. Swing by your tailor and see what they can do.

I just like having a solid shoe rotation. I dont have a tailor in NY yet. Anyone heard of Mohans?
