Suits you sir!

As the title may give away, I am based in the UK, but obviously mosts brands are available internationally.

For my upcoming SA this summer as a trading intern I need to buy a new suit. I currently have a really nice navy Zegna sport suit I have had for a few years which I love, and a TM Lewin suit which is grey and is a poor fit and I hate. Both ends of the spectrum.

I need to get a new work suit, but dont want to spemd mega bucks. Probably £600 tops.

I was hoping I could be pointed in the direction of some good suit retailers in the UK? Fit and quality are of most importance, and given it is summer I would like a nice light material.

Any advice is really appreciated, I was hoping to get by on my SA with two suits as I dont like the TM Lewin one I dint want to wear it, doesthis seems adequate or is this too little?

Thanks for any advice....appreciated!

Thomas Pink and Hackett. They'll take it in etc. for you

Cheers man, i have some thomas pink shirts, but have heard some people querying the quality of thomas pink suits? Is this criticism worthy?

My housemate has one and is pretty happy with it thus far (had it about 1yr+), but i have to say TP has been going downhill recently, but mainly in terms of styling; it's getting rather nouveau.

Hackett would be my first port of call. Further, you can get some nice things from places like Mark Marengo (go into their Savile Row shop, their off the peg isn't too pricey if you get something in a sale and has lasted me well (years drunken and frequent wearing)).
