Summer Intern - What to wear

Hello all,

Starting a summer internship at a west coast based LMM firm and wondering what I should be buying in preparation for work. Currently I have a navy suit, 3 white shirts, 2 blue shirts (slightly different shades), dress shoes, and belt.

I would assume I should also buy grey dress pants?

If anyone has recommendations on what else I need or a place to get good grey dress pants (brooks brothers & charles tyrwhitt sold out in my size), it would be much appreciated.

Thank you!!

Do yourself a favor and wait until after your start to buy the rest of your clothing. Your current wardrobe will allow you to arrive professionally - you can then buy more of the style you need once you realize what people in the office wear. Your colleagues could be more likely to wear a quarter zip than a blazer - point being, don’t rush to spend all your money for clothes until you know what you’ll be wearing
