Swatch Sistem 51 for daily watch?

I'm non-sales. I'm also in AM, where these things are less important. I think I'd also prefer to spend the portion of my bonus that I'm not saving on a cheap sportscar than a watch. (yes, that new Seamaster is nice, but a used Miata or S2000 would add more to my life experience) I had an old Seiko "UFO" (6138 if you care) as my daily driver, and the two phone lifestyle prevents me from going iWatch but the UFO froze up this week. (service older watches, kids) I'm liking the new more formal Swatch Sistem 51 watches and wonder what people think of people wearing them in more technical roles? (Also, the aqua terra knock off vs. the semi-skeleton for someone who wears brown more often than black?--Like I said, boss told me that while I was doing awesome, I had a great back-up career in academia)

I've got a 1962 Seamaster for important things, but given it's basically new in box status, I want to break it out as little as possible. (I have both the clamshell, and the box the calmshell came in)

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.
