The Fight Against Summer Pit Stains

Summer is almost upon us and if you're in a city as weather bipolar as New York then you've probably already experienced a day hotter than holy hell.

That being said, I'd love to get your guys' take on wearing undershirts with a suit/shirt combo to prevent pit stains from showing.

How much do they actually help in preventing pit stains? What brands are most effective in terms of price/quality? Is it actually all about the deodorant I use?

Enjoy the long weekend fellas!

If it is a B.O. issue use Bicarb soda - eliminates the smell. If it is the sweating, I just use really strong antiperspirant, works well for me. I also find wearing a singlet/tank/undershirt under your shirt helps a lot!

Undershirt if you really sweat profusely; a decent deodorant otherwise. I use Aesop's unisex deodorant. On the expensive side, but it smells quite good and leaves absolutely zero stains (neither white on black cloth nor yellow-ish on white cloth).
