Using my suit jacket as a blazer?
SA here still trying to find ways to save money. I'm thinking about using my suit jacket as a blazer to go out to dinner or very upscale places. Should I go for it?

I think I solved your problem.
He wants to ball out with the big dogs but save on the look. Been there done that, buy yourself a cheap blazer.
Works best if it's solid navy, though I like some pattern to my non-blazer jackets. Checks, houndstooth, windowpanes, and in more casual fabrics, etc.
