Marginal craftsmanship and style...

I would stick with Brooks Brothers for a polished conservative look, Thomas Pink for a fashionably forward yet classic appearance, and Ralph Lauren P-label for the more elegantly clad...

Just some suggestions...

I have far too many ties from the likes of Pink, RL, Canali etc. Need something a bit different. The Vineyard ties seem quite thin to me which suit my preferred style of knot. I'm guessing they are of similar weighting to Hermes for which I have developed a very damaging liking to? Thanks.

I live in St. James' so have Jermyn Street and Savile Row on my doorstep - they do not however sell Vineyard Vines ties which was the topic of discussion.

Thanks to the people who made relevant comments. I'll get a few and see how they are.

That's the point. With such an extensive selection of fine ties why would you want VV? Your VV desire is very strange; but of you must, www.vinyardvines.com

Yeah, that's a guy I want to look like

Kudlow's a jackass, but he has a distinctive sense of style - T&A shirts, VV/H/F ties, a penchant for brown suits, and that carrot knot of his with a linen pocket square.

My style is a bit different, but I can respect his.
