Watches by Industry?

Good evening everyone from where I am, first-timer here.

I tried googling watches by industry and all I got was results about which industry to WATCH for i.e investment topics. What I'm looking for is a list of watch companies that are suitable for what industry one is working in.

From what I read, Tag Heuer gives an impression that the wearer is of a profession relating to the outdoors, whereas Seamaster series by Omega are usually worn by divers or lifeguards. Panerais are usually worn by merchant bankers due to the former's company history, Rolex for dentists, scientists while Rolex is for top insurance agents, IWC for scholarly people..... etc. You get what I'm trying to say here. Getting a wrong watch for the industry I'm working in probably WON'T be noticed at all, but I like to know the brand I am getting and this factor just seems to be of concern to me.

Basically, I am starting work soon and am looking for a watch to get. Strap-wise, I am more towards the leather ones over the bracelets. I have a tiny wrist, just slightly less than 5cm in width and probably 12-13cm in diameter. I've tried regular watches and they look huge on my wrist, meaning it looks weird. I've a budget of USD$3000. Any recommendations would be appreciated, along with a list of watches by industry.

Thanks for your time and have a great day.

Holy fuck, you cannot be serious.

You get what looks good, something that looks classy. Not even sure how someone gets it into their head that there's a watch to wear according to industry...
