Wearing a suit in the Back Office?

I’m about to start an internship at a BB Back Office. I have met with the people there before starting and no one wears a suit. Shirts with pockets, jeans and casual attire all along. (from all levels of hierarchy)

Do you recommend I don’t wear a suit? I genuinely don’t know what to wear else, a suit is comfortable and simple. I can’t bother wearing jeans with this weather and short sleeve shirts… I just can’t.

Any advice?

If no one else is wearing a suit, don’t bother in my experience, you’ve met the team and seen what they wear I assume, so you’ll just look like a hardo. Don’t go in wearing a fleece or puffer vest though either. Go for a crisp shirt (Ralph Lauren or the ilk) and some more formal chinos or dress pants, get some nice-ish shoes (monk straps are still based I don’t care what people say) and pair it with a watch.

Id wear jeans or kakis and a nice shirt, its its cold you can probably get away with wearing a suit jacket. But if they are that low dressed going to look odd if you come in wearing a suit unless you are going with a boss to meet someone.
