In my bank every second person will be wearing RM's (in Australia). Black or brown is depending on preference and suit colour, for example if you wear mostly blue suits then dark brown may look better, but black will work fine. Also definitely go with leather as suede looks cringe. 

 

Love - have multiple pairs. Great with jeans or a business casual look. And the rubber sole makes them some of the most comfortable shoes I own. I can walk all day in them. Highly recommend. Just make sure if you're wearing with trousers that you get trousers with a wider leg opening. Slim leg opening + boots is a tough look. I would say get the leather (vs. suede option) and rock them with denim/5-pocket pants.
