I wear a little bit of piss from my ass - smells just right
Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some standout fragrances that align with the polished, powerful, and 'old money' vibe you're looking for:
Chanel Platinum Egoiste - A fresh, elegant scent that exudes executive presence. It's often described as a timeless choice for someone who wants to make a strong, sophisticated impression.
Creed Aventus - Dominating Wall Street and high-finance circles, this fragrance is synonymous with success and luxury. It's a staple for those who want to stand out in a crowd.
Roja Elysium - A high-quality competitor to Creed Aventus, offering a refined and versatile profile that works well in professional settings.
Louis Vuitton Meteore - Light, fresh, and subdued, this scent is perfect for close interactions, leaving a lasting impression without being overpowering.
Amouage Reflection Man - A unique take on classic masculine profiles, offering a blend of sophistication and modernity. Ideal for someone who wants to project confidence and style.
These fragrances are highly regarded for their ability to convey success and refinement, making them excellent choices for real estate professionals aiming to leave a lasting impression.
LOL
My go-to for work is Montblanc Explorer. It smells fresh and masculine, is extremely versatile across season x time of day x occasion, and is extraordinarily inoffensive. The last point is crucial -- (A) if you're wearing a 'powerhouse' fragrance that's an acquired taste most people will actively dislike it (and will talk negatively about you because of it), (B) anything higher end than this starts to use higher quality ingredients that I find tend to increase rates of allergic reactions. I'm sensitive to fragrances so I can be my own guinnea pig on the last point, which has been helpful
brut after shave
Acqua di gio eau de toilette is my go to because I feel it smells light and fresh, not musky.
What do y'all think of it?
I personally like Floris's No. 89 and Polo Ralph Lauren's Polo Blue. Neither is too overpowering and both are classic and professional.
definitely gris charnel by BDK.... its addicting. and DANIEL by Napoleon in the summer
Mancera Cedrat Boise or MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver (although I've been out of it for awhile)
Definitely! For that polished, confident vibe, I’d say check out ARfragrances — they’ve got some amazing inspired scents that give off that classy, “old money” energy without the heavy price tag. Perfect for office or formal settings!
For my daily routine, I prefer a fresh and clean aroma, particularly in real estate environments where first impressions are important. Usually, I go for long lasting perfume that feels sophisticated without being overbearing. I am able to maintain my confidence throughout the day while providing clients with a nice experience thanks to a mild smell.
