What should I wear to a tour of the office?
I'm interning at a hedge fund this summer (I'm the only intern) and I've been called in next week to a tour of the office. Should I wear a suit and a tie or something less formal?

Dress to impress, my dude. Even if that is not the normal attire for the fund, you only have one shot to make a good first impression. Good luck!
Is it silly to think you could just ask whoever is showing you around, “Hi ____, just wanted to shoot you a message asking what typical office attire is. Thanks!”
Whatever their office attire is, you are there to make an impression that you are very serious about getting the job.
Formal with suit and tie.
The interview I mentioned a couple weeks ago I was the only one with a full suit and tie, they all seemed impressed by being professional.
Word. Don't know about you: for me, I feel more confident in full suit and tie too, so there is so much intangible benefit that helps your interview.
suit with no tie is the perfect balance of not being too formal and not wanting to stroll into the office too casual and gain negative attention
