Where to buy a Rolex in NYC
Seems so difficult with the supply chain issues. Does anyone know an authorized dealer that has Rolex's with no wait period?

Which specific Rolex are you trying to get?
Submariner or Explorer II
These should both be attainable but with a bit of a wait. I’ve seen both come through after 1-3 months so I would go to a few shops, register your interest and try and be friendly. Many ADs in nyc, just go talk to them, right now I doubt you find any without a wait.
If you're not a "regular customer", you will struggle to get one at an AD. Do you have an in with any AD's (e.g. someone with prior purchase history or a friend who works for the AD)?
Unfortunately not but would really like to start my collection. Hoping that I get lucky somehow....
Get yourself on as many AD lists as possible, you might strike it lucky. If you're not against venturing out you should have a look at AD's in smaller cities/towns too
There are no ADs with no waitlist unless you are a high spender at that AD or you are looking for unpopular models and configurations.
I would try getting one from Bob’s watches if you don’t mind paying a bit more to avoid the waitlist. Definitely has turned me off of Rolex since other brands like Grand Seiko don’t do the whole AD waitlist game.
You might Also want to try Jomashop or Crown and Caliber. Most are certified preowned but are significantly less that retail and have their own warranty, not the original manufacturer warranty though
Chinatown. Bring cash.
Try Chrono24 or other online retailers. The grey market is your best bet. No one is going to sell you a Sub without prior purchases in NY. The explorer may be an easier find, but likely it’ll be a waste of time trying to get it from an AD. Just go grey and bite the bullet. I have a 114270 that I got for a great price. You’re likely looking for the 124270 which will be more, but still obtainable for many here. A grey market Sub varies widely on year of production and condition. Good luck.
Yeah adding to the above - grey market have it shipped to a jeweler in nyc and check it over. A way better selection and who cares if its used.
Just piling on here, went shopping in NY recently and no AD will even show you anything Rolex without a purchase history. Gray market is absolutely your best bet.
Diamond district. No shot at getting anything from an AD.
