3 hour MM HF case study in-person. What to expect?
For a MM HF (not P72). This should be a 3 hour in-person interview (my first one ever after campus recruiting) and I don't know what to expect. The BD person at the firm just said to not worry and do your best, no insight if it will be model or stock. Hoping someone here could give me some insight on what to expect, how to best prepare for it?
Varies, but I’ve had a mix of a case study (with a quick model) and then launching into an interview with an analyst/PM
Makes sense. Is it more common to do a basic 3 model statement from scratch, forecasting out key parts of the model for 3-5 years? or is it more common to get an incomplete model to complete (aka P72 style)?
From scratch if case study. You’ll probably get a modeling test too depending on pm but those are a joke. An elementary schooler could pass them
Likely 3SM. Practice from scratch and filling in. Goodluck
It will be a typical case study. 3 statement model mostly focused on revenue (I guess depends on sector and strategy but you get the gist). You can find them all online they are pretty easy to pass.
Mind sharing a good google search for these? Know it has been mentioned on here but think WSO blocks names of competitors
God bless if you want to do HF and are asking for Google prompts
