Aiming for HF/Quant and landed a PE Quant offer. Any advice?
Title. Current sophomore at a target school. Wanted to recruit for HFs/Quant, randomly applied to a very large PE/PC firm in a niche quant research team, and got the offer for 2026. Do I take it? Respected name but have no clue what the exit opps/prestige of this role is. The work and team look very interesting though.
