Anyone heard of Valinor?
I know its a solid Tiger Cub fund but anyone have any further insight into them? Interview process, culture, etc.
Thanks

how do people find "Tiger Club" funds?

Comprehensive list of Tiger spawned hedge funds.
Curious. Do UNC grads get placed well in these firms?
David Gallo came from Bridger and Dan Rosenthal has a tech background. My understanding is that they are primarily equity focused and don't really fit into any of the cliche style boxes. Small investment team and solid performance. It would be a good place to work.
Gallo is a good guy. Decent carry-over from Bridger in some places (Cott) and some typical Tiger behavior in others (Liberty), but love his portfolio and it's a small enough team that you could probably move up pretty quickly if you did solid work.
I feel like every reputable hedge fund I've heard of owns Liberty in some form or another...is there that much back and forth in the HF industry or are the fundamentals/story just incredibly convincing?
