Are the big multi-strat hedgefunds open to to re-hiring folks who have left before? I know some firms are all about loyalty, hence the reason for my question.
I figure if you got fired then there is no way to go back to the same MM. This question applies to if you chose to leave voluntarily to go to another fund or another industry before wanting to go back.

Happens all the time at bigger funds at the analyst level, especially if they leave on good terms and firm thinks they can still make money. I haven't seen it at PM level for someone that got blown out.
