are sophomore SA at HF common?
Is HF recruiting/interviewing for sophomores particularly intense? I have a contact at a HF that's like $15 billion AUM who should be able to get me an interview, but am wondering how intense interviews for these types of roles tend to be?
I am a second-year at a top 10 public business school, w/ a 3.8 and involved with all the premier finance orgs (ib prep program and student investment fund) on campus. I don't have any internship experience, but are my involvements and good grades enough?
Will interviews be extremely technical? I know it depends on the fund and probably how much pull my contact has but am wondering what people's sophomore HF recruiting experiences were like. Especially those that went on to do IB SA their junior summer.
