Are there mid cap focused teams at Pod Shops?
Question as basic as the title of the post. Less liquidity of course, but assume less SS coverage/HF competition makes it a ripe hunting ground?
Interested predominantly in London.
Teams don't focus on size unless it's strategy-specific. I know a team that leans on midcaps in their universe, but they are limited in how much money they can deploy.
Liquidity in Europe is a pretty big issue for most teams here - we had to drop an entire part of our coverage because the yield for our time wasn't there. Does not make sense to do all this work if I can only trade a small amount of shares daily.
