She’s kind of a marketing genius tbh. She basically has created the STNK etf and makes double digit millions for it. 

Look at the people that work for her on LinkedIn. They have no real experience so what do you think Catherine is paying them? They’re just people excited about technology that are young. These are the people who would be great stonk promoters because they just seem quite passionate about the actual tech and not the finance. 

 

Absolutely this.  The fund basically exists to tell retail FAs a story they love to hear, including how the "analysts" there are all industry specialists and therefore differentiated (okay...).  I'm sure some newly minted PhD really has some unique view on GBTC.  The entire premise of thematic investing, especially when your book is clearly visible, is just to be there first before r/wsb pumps up the name/etf

 

Hoping to revive this. Has anyone ever interviewed with them? I have one coming up and have no clue what to expect. I assume I'll be asked about work samples I submitted along with my resume, but curious about technical questions.
