Run a search for Marc Lasry and you'll find he was up for ambassadorship(?) of France but had to turn it down due to some background noise. So there's gotta be concern that he's looking beyond his HF career. Then the question is what happens to Avenue when the face of the firm retires.

Any updated info here on Avenue, US office? It doesn’t look like they’ve raised meaningful funds over last several years, and heard senior comp is below market. Can anyone confirm either way?
