BAM Insights

Freshman at a semi-target, been reading here and online about other pod shops (P72,Citadel,Millennium) but haven’t found as much on BAM. I know they have an associate program like Citadel or P72 academy but curious how it compares. Also interested in how their PM program matches up again P72 launch point. Any other insights on culture and career development and progression would also be appreciated.

Ok, as someone that has been following and covering BAM for a while now, just take a look at their financials. It has got to be the best compounder on the market. In years to come, since the asset manager is now a public entity, this will shed more light and naturally they will be recognized for what they are worth. Terrific place to be as an investor, and if they are raking in money for their investors, they should be doing well for themselves. Can’t go into detail about the PM structure and comp, but the returns are probably best in the space, even better than KKR, BX and Ares.

Huge Edit: Turns out OP was talking about Balyasny, I was talking about Brookfield Asset Management. Still stand on my words though, Brookfield's asset management division has been crushing it, I would love to work there.
