Apparently BAM promotes PMs to equity partners - seems like something slightly different in the fungible world of MM PMs. Does anyone know what "partner" at BAM means. Do you get more favorable economics e.g. participate in the firm performance fee? What type of PnL numbers do you need to put up to get considered for partner?
