Biggest HC pods on the street
What are the biggest HC pods on the street? I work at a MM and it’s such a black box - frankly have no idea who the biggest books are in my space and would be curious to know.

Surveyor and Ashler have a few large HC pods and 1 extremely, extremely successful HC pod, best on the street hands down. The others are probably top 5
Is the extremely successful one the surveyor pod with the different risk mandate relative to other C pods + does privates? (Trying to avoid naming names ha)
No. The one where old PM retired and new took over. Don’t want to dox.
Isn't Passaic Capital at Millennium also pretty big?

Passaic hasn't been healthcare only for some time, but yes still has one of the larger healthcare portfolios
Also a couple of ex Point72 guys, that have started businesses at MLP and Balyasny recently; Google would provide more info.
If you want to include less strictly market neutral groups, there is Farallon and Marshall Wace which are both in the $6-12B range
Farallon healthcare team: very good at biotech (2 high profile spin-outs) and tools, but not good at services/medtech. Their services analyst has a bad reputation, a bunch of us don't like him.
