Bonuses in Funds of Funds?
Hi all,
I am a new starter at a Alt-investment fund in London ($2b one).
Any idea where’s the bonus range for new associates?

Funds of Funds = Money Manager / LP in some ways... I would say 10-25% bonus would be market with a higher salary instead.
It is not really a transaction role like a GP. Your boss knows your bonus a year in advance already. There is no room to outperform that much as a LP, so bonus will be lower but more 'steady'.

Not direct - speaking with recruiters over the years.
Right - thanks for the insight. A friend of mine is a junior associate at a FoF for a BB bank. He works 9-5 (in reality more like 10-3 of actual work) and makes £90k base with a target bonus of 40-50% according to his HR guy. It's his first year so let's see but that makes me want to switch over...
