Bridgewater's debate interview, how assertive/rude should you be?

I have an interview with Bridgewater and I was wondering how I should proceed. I know they want you to be assertive and have "principles" but how should you act during the group debate?

Be cordial (like a normal person) or like shoot other people down? Should you talk as much as possible given you have something to say, or try to let others speak?

The debate topics have nuance but I've heard you want to take a hardline approach and just charge with it. Any tips?

Hillary lacks both showmanship and rhetoric so no problem for Don come round two

Rude was an over statement on my part. More so something like if I should argue like it's a polite conversation debate you have with an office mate, or like a hard hitting passionate (think political) you have with a friend.

If you can’t defend a viewpoint strongly without being rude (or being worried that you are rude) you are either a terrible debater or overly sensitive yourself.
