Career Progression

So I just graduated from a semi-target (send ~5 or so to BB) with a 3.85 GPA and previous PE and Consulting internships. Will be working in Boston doing TAS Advisory for PwC but my main goal is investing and HF/PE work. I am wondering what would be the best career path post PwC ? I had two IB BB offers in NYC but I needed to be in Boston so had to go PwC. Any idea what I could do to get to the HF/PE path quickly ? Ill be taking the CFA and have programming (C++, Java) and advanced math (Diff EQ, Linear, etc) skills but where to go from here.

thanks

TS Advisory is not a bad group to be in. Though a jump straight to PE/HF would be very (very!) hard to do quickly. Not sure which group of pwc you are in but I know the TS valuation group tends to send people to top b-schools after 3-4 years or middle market banks after 1-2 years. Your best bet would be to B-school>BB>PE OR go to mm bank then lateral into a pre-MBA associate position at a smaller PE. Good luck!
